UX Design Project
Katie Mac was approached by Conference Mate (an online business start-up) to design and build a mock-up website which would be used to present to potential investors. The business idea is very complex, involving both B2B and B2C transactions. Therefore the challenge was to create a simple, clear, informative website that would be easily navigated and have an overall pleasant and trouble-free UX (user experience).
The 'look and feel' of the website was created, which remains corporate yet welcoming. Icons were created to simplify information about what they do, services they offer and the benefits involved. Form design was a major requirement as the site mainly comprises of various forms that need to be filled out. With each form a lot of information is required by the participant, so a simple, clear and informative layout was created.
